A term of hands-on STEAM for your kindergarten room, delivered either by one of our educators visiting every week or as a complete kit your own team runs. Built for 3 to 5 year olds, aligned to the EYLF, NQS and QKLG, and Kindy Uplift ready. Programs for younger and older children are in development; ask us if your centre would like to be first.
A qualified HLG STEAMist educator comes to your centre on the same day each week for a full 10-week term (Term 1 and Term 4 can also run as a 5-week block). Each 45 minute session is a full STEAM investigation with a story, an experiment or build, and reflection time. Your educators join in, learn alongside the children and get the week’s provocation to keep going. Block one hour to allow for set up and pack down. Incursion places are limited each term, so early bookings are recommended.
Incursions run anywhere in Queensland. We regularly deliver in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast, Mackay and Innisfail, and we are happy to combine bookings in your area to keep travel costs down.

Ten weeks of activities arrive in one delivery, with every week’s materials individually labelled and a flyer listing each week’s material list. The educator manual has step-by-step guides, read-aloud stories, risk assessments and curriculum links. Run it in any order, in any term, at your own pace. A full 10-week program, or a 5-week program for the Term 1 and Term 4 themes if you are starting late in the year or working with a smaller budget. Perfect for regional and remote centres.

Returning centres receive a continuation discount when they rebook for the following term. Quotes include GST and are valid for 30 days. Bookings are confirmed by signing a short agreement sent for e-signature; no paper forms.
Every year opens with a fresh Discovery theme. Children explore one big idea over 10 weeks, or 5 for a shorter run, with the 2027 theme announced in Term 4.
Australian animals, weather, bush foods and land care through a STEAM lens, with First Nations perspectives developed alongside a cultural partner.
Children travel the globe one investigation at a time: bridges, boats, musical instruments, textiles and the science behind everyday things. The countries visited change every year.
The year ends with a Mystery. In 2026 it is Mystery of the STEAM Pioneers: children become time-travelling detectives, meeting a pioneer each week and solving a challenge inspired by their work.
Booking tip: book slightly under your room maximum (for example 20 in a room of 22) to allow for absences. If your room is full one week, we will not charge extra.
